Special Notice – Corona Virus
Corona Related Medical Coverage:
Our programs include Covid-19 related Medical Expense and Trip Interruption benefits while traveling on a covered trip, if there is a medical diagnosis, subject to the terms and conditions of the insurance policy. Diagnosis must be issued in writing by the treating facility and approved by the insurers. If you require to be medically quarantined while on a covered trip, you may be covered for daily quarantine expenses up to the covered sum as indicated for the program you have purchased, while on the covered trip.
Corona Related Cancellation/Interruption Coverage:
Programs purchased may cover trip cancellation/interruption due to Your Covid-19 diagnosis or illness. For coverage to apply, the program must be purchased at least 14 days before departure. Exceptions will be considered by submitting a Covid-19 negative test result within 48 hours of purchase.
Please note: Trip cancellation/interruption due to government mandated Covid-19 restrictions and/or border closures are not a covered reason under the terms and conditions of our programs.
Credit and Refund Policy due to Corona:
DiveAssure is offering full credit for purchased programs or a change of dates free of charge if the trip you have coverage for was postponed or cancelled due to Coronavirus and you are not filing a claim. Refund requests will be considered on a case by case basis depending on purchase date.
