Emergency Procedures

In case of an immediate emergency, contact local EMS for assistance, and then contact DiveAssure emergency service.

A 24/7 emergency telephone assistance service is available for your benefit. In case of emergency contact DiveAssure emergency services using the contact information below, which can also be found on the back of your membership card.

If you suspect that you have a diving related medical problem and you are looking for consultation and advice, contact our emergency services and ask to speak to a Duke Dive Medicine physician who will be able to provide you with consultation and guidance regarding your issue.

Please Note: In case of diving accident, our experienced emergency service team members will be joined by the Duke Dive Medicine (DDM) physicians to make sure that you receive the best possible dive-medical attention. DDM will continue to monitor your medical conditions and will make recommendations to the treating doctor and/or hyperbaric facility as to the proper treatment. Click here to learn more about DDM.
